About Moby Memory

The History of Your Moby Memory

Moby Memory was created during the dot com explosion of 1999 and has been growing ever since but has always had the same ideology of great prices coupled with a great service. . Moby Memory has always dealt directly with manufacturers and official suppliers and have a great relationship with hem to enable us not only to give the highest standard of support but also offer competitive and low prices to our customers. Moby Memory started off primarily selling mobile phone accessories and memory. However in 2009 Moby Memory became a part of the Santrade Ltd Group, who have helped expand the product range and are constantly bringing new ideas and products  such as: earphones, video games, console accessories, PC and laptop peripherals, repairs and the future only holds more. And even though we are expanding and growing go new levels constantly it will always be important to us that we continue to emphasise great prices and great service.

Why choose Moby Memory?

In recent years competition has grown rapidly and with so many companies to choose from why choose us? Well to start with Moby Memory has over 10 years of experience within the memory sector and our dedicated sales and customer service team have the experience and skills to supply the service our customers disserve, in fact we have been selling memory for nearly as many years as it has been developed for the mobile phone– so we know the all there is to know about our trade.

Pricing. Nobody wants to pay more money than you have to. We constantly update prices to make sure we are the best value for money. All of our products are genuine – with a lot of fakes around in the market its easy to be fooled into paying for something that looks the same but isn’t, and since day one we’ve always kept genuine products and will always do so.

Customer service. We’ve all been there, waiting for hours on the phone being put on hold. Its one of the most frustrating things, ever. Due to the large number of calls we get we may not be able to answer every call but try our best to do so BUT we do answer emails within a working day of receiving it and in a majority of cases you can solve any queries or problems quickly and efficiently.

The Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations

The Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations

Under the Waste Battery Regulations, Moby Memory are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries please deliver any portable waste batteries to us in person at 278 Chase Road Southgate London N14 6HA (please do not post). Alternatively, you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at www.recyclenow.com Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End-users may find stores in their local area more accessible.

You can now recycle your old electricals with us.

If you’re buying a new electrical item, we will recycle your old one for free

Why recycle?

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

We can help

We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items.

Please send them back to us or drop them off to us at 278 Chase Road Southgate London N14 6HA

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with this symbol)

If you have any questions about this scheme, just get in touch.

What is WEEE?

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis. (if you purchase a new mobile charger we will not take back a washing machine) all items sent back to Moby Memory are to be done so at the expense of the customer once received Moby Memory will then recycle the products free of charge

Find more information on WEEE recycling, and locate your local recycling centre, at www.recyclenow.com.
